I was a massive Gary fan back in the old days, and thus it made me like Umbreon a lot. I made sure that mine was always a male though.

Because I am autistic about it. Only few of my Pokemon are allowed to be female. Most things that look "feminine" I'd allow to be females, but I was weird about it.

Pokemon like Bellossom or Gardevoir were obviously female, but I'd picture a Roserade as a gallant knight of sorts, or a Sunflora as a chill brodude. So its not just hurr plants are girls like most people do I think.

Vaporeon is great and there is nothing wrong with liking it.
I don't think a single Pokemon can be considered a "guilty pleasure" all the designs have some form of merit, even ones I personally dislike.

This one. I like nearly all mechanical and artificial Pokémon, though not all of them are necessarily my favorites. I wish Klingklang had a more diverse moveset, or I'd probably like it more.

However, one guilty displeasure I have is against Duraldon. I'm trying REALLY hard to convince myself that I like it because it looks robotic, but I can barely even stand looking directly at it. I have no idea why, honestly.

What the hell is a Duraldon?

Also I love the Klangs too, but their shitty movepools made me not wanna use them. Wish they had either gotten more coverage or at least a secondary typing.

Oh that's its name. I thought it was something from Gen 7 (just started playing Gen 7 yesterday).

Yeah this thing looks awful. I don't like any of the Gen 8 designs other than Galar Ziggs/Linoone (don't like their new evo though), and the water bird.

Latios has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. Its design is a mix of cool and cute, its stats are great and still hold up in later games, its death in Heroes made me cry
I guess it is popular, but on /vp/, Latios is kind of memed a lot, with the 9/11 jokes and being overshadowed by Latias and stuff. Not that I hate those things, and it didn't stop it from being one of my favorites, but I kind of felt bad for liking it so much, I guess.

As shilled and over popular as it is, Mewtwo is fucking cool. Really cool alien-but-humaniod design, cool lore, strong as fuck. Deoxys is still cooler in my book, but Mewtwo is one of the few Pokemon that deserve it's popularity imo.
