Those were leagues where Ash had very good motivations to win the league. Ash losing the first two leagues makes sense since he was still new and inexperienced, and the Unova anime was so godawful that you could tell Ash deserved his loss then too. Any of those other regions would've been a better win.
The reason why I say this is because there's two ways of looking at this:
If Ash continues to be the protagonist for SwSh, it will make the age-old defense that "he has to lose in order to keep travelling to other regions!" be totally inaccurate and make all the latter losses be inexcusable. I'm aware that TPCi faggots have said that statement isn't true to begin with, but their actions speak louder than their words.
If Ash is NOT going to be the SwSh protagonist, then why end his saga on such a sour note? If this was his last hoorah, why didn't they put more effort into the final league battle? Or arranging Ash's final team? In other past leagues he brought back at least 1 of his older pokemon (mainly to pander to the fans), but he didn't do that this time. It also confirms that TPCi is full of liars.
