I'm not that pessimistic about the Sinnoh remake. First off it's unreasonable to believe that they will use the DP pokedex because of the lack of Fire types. There will at least be some updates to the Pokedex.
I don't see them dropping much? Poketch might be gone, I don't know how that will work on the Switch. VS Seeker might be dropped for nu-EXP share, that will suck. Battle Frontier might be replaced with something else. The villa might be gone too but that's a stretch. Great Marsh will be a wild area.
I don't think Coronet will be reduced to a hallway because the Sinnoh map is kind of complicated because of it.
The engine upgrade will be nice at least.
