Rowlet now fits inside Melmetal's hole so that it will no longer need to sleep in Ash's backpack. It's not evolving into Dartrix, as it would then be too big for that hole.

Lana is a Water-type trainer. She shouldn't have a Normal-type like Eevee. It should evolve into a Vaporeon, but I'll chalk that one up if she gets a side story episode after SM ends. (Each of the four trial captain characters should get one imo.)

Yeah, it's not really used as a battler for the most part by Kiawe, usually only uses it as a Poké Ride (Poni arc had Fini reminding him 'Zard is still a competent battler, in time to ensure he'd had enough Pokémon to move through the League rounds).

It's been the endgame of the whole "rivalry Vs. Masked Royal's Incineroar" arc they've been pulling with Litten/Torracat. Hell, even its moveset is set up in a way to let it evolve and lose Fire Fang, while still retaining its connection to Stoutland by virtue of Stoutland tutoring Torracat Fire Blast in Tapu Fini's mist (while also having a SE move and speed-boosting move to allow it to even the odds between it and Royal's Incineroar on evolution).

Face it, it's not happening. The anime almost never has dittos unless there's some major design difference (ex. Richie's Pikachu's tuff of hair). Not being used in the finals basically confirms this as well.

There's also the fact the two would only share one move makes it easier to have a mirror match-up (especially if MR's Incineroar uses Bulk Up, which causes a marked difference in the size of Incineroar's torso as-is).

I've seen the whole series kid. Aside from a couple of Ultra Guardian episodes where they all used their Ride Pokémon's attacks, 'Zard's done fuck all battling for Kiawe - it was his grandad's and he only considered using him as a battler AFTER Tapu Fini's trial (eg. when he was re-reminded of 'Zard's potential for battling). Stop being deceptive.
