I need to catch my bro, though. That's why I'm buying gen 8 but apologetically, and then probably not buying the next gen after that one. I would have rather got this shit out of the way and just finished it off though. I guess when dpp remakes come out I'll have to just uproot my whole life again which will be a pain, seeing as I would want to go all in on it if I ended up paying more money again. The only factor I'm uncertain about is how gen 8 will turn out, because console pokemon is unjourneyed territory for me, and I would have rather just waited for the gen4 remake if it was on the 3ds.
