How would you feel if Game Freak somehow stopped making Pokemon and Capcom picked it up and made the graphics and art a lot like the Monster Hunter games?

that would fuckin suck ass. for some reason this is a very popular mix and match online but i don’t see why. Monster Hunter’s current art style works for its own line of massive fuckin monsters but not for pokémon.

I would love it if they made a Pokémon Adventures stylized game where it was a fight for your life/checkmate the enemy trainer type scenario vs pokesports. It could control like V from DMX where you move your trainer in an attempt to avoid damage.

Your poke would pop in and out like V's summons with pokeballs being thrown/retracted by the laser.

It'd be some unholy fusion of Ni no Kuni and DMCV, and I don't think a better poke hame could exist.

Well they already made a better pokemon game than what we've had for a long time in my opinion. They even had Z-moves and instead of HMs a monster that could swim could just actually FUCKING SWIM with you riding it. No rental mon for the tourists, just you and your monstie.. That you stole from its nest and hatched yourself so it imprinted on you while you were wearing its father's bones and hide, all while swinging around a hunting horn made of its mother's skull.

Pokemon doesn’t do legitimate violence. Only implied violence or cartoon violence, it’s a main guideline for the franchise from the very start. That’s they whenever you defeat something is just passes out for a bit

A side-series similar to Pokken would be interesting, but I don’t see the entire Pokédex transferring well into more realistic combat. Some designs could be amazing reimagined in a MonHun style, others would just be out of place.
