It just occurred to me, but what if one version gets more content than another? What if there are more pokemon and more features that aren't in the other version? It seems like something nu-gamefreak would do.

Azurill. It’s just because Marill line has one more stage than the FR counterpart (the Wooper line)

The real problem was with Pokemon Black vs White. White forest has a lot of exclusives, some of which aren’t even obtainable in any other Gen V game

to be fair, most were shitter mons like pidgey and hoppip and only certain ones would show up depending on certain npcs that appeared randomly and you could only get more by interacting with black

every pair of pokemon games has a discrepancy where one sells significantly more than the other. Blue sold better than Red, Silver and SoulSilver sold better than Gold and HeartGold, Ruby better than Sapphire, Diamond better than Pearl and despite the White Forest, Black and Black 2 sold better than White and White 2.
