Breaking an NDA can be used to break you if the company in question so desires so putting in shit that isn't true gives you reason to say "But you know I know that's not true and you can't prove I'd say otherwise!".
Obviously once Dynamax was revealed the person definitely knew some shit but not everything is necessarily true if they were smart about it.
