>>40064921For many years I've actually hated Lisa with a burning passion, but lately I've been rewatching the older episodes and my god, how different she was. She really was the best character, she was the voice of reason but still being a kid, knowing when to have fun, and when she got sad or upset it was completely justified. In fact, in many episodes where she's feeling down it's because someone really did treat her like shit and she was simply told to deal with it, like when Bart broke into her room and tossed het sax out the window breaking it, she started to cry and got really upset but "haha well Bart was just joking, geez, calm down" and stuff like that. Lisa was the most realistic character and looking at what they turned her into is sad, honestly.
