A little worried that if we do get a full reboot we'll get this weird style of anime where every episode or two the story will jump from region to region and from protagonist to protagonist with mini arcs as they travel around each region trying to collect the badges or whatever. In theory it could be cool but in reality it would probably make it really hard to get excited for any story and there would inevitably be more and less interesting characters that we'll bounce between. I don't believe we'll get a full reboot starting with Kanto and working its way forward because there's no way the anime wont show Galar first and foremost in some way. I'm just making assumptions that they'll want Pokemon to air all year round like it currently does but we could of course get a yearly 26 episode anime series, although that is most likely not happening.

Even though even if you accept it as an excuse (it's not - games need only be in development as proven by literally every other Gen) they could just add Galar in at the end of it all while shilling Masters with the rest (which is going to make them far more money in the long run anyway).

Meaning even if they needed the games to release to start shilling them, they could probably squeeze out least a couple years from anime and merch before Galar needed to be a thing.

I have inside info about new TV series. It's basicly a remake of first pocket monsters anime. Kanto with better graphics. Spin is that Ash will meet other region characters while traveling through Kanto. This is made to promote Pokémon masters mobile game. After ash beat the Kanto league he will receive invitation to galar region to enter their championships. This remake is quite short. Galar part will be out a while after the sword shield game comes out.

Probably haven't got enough gen 8 Pokemon to warrant it to be a generation so they have to go back to the old gens and use Pokemon from that in the anime.
