I played as all of them. My favorites though are Cool Guy, Strong Guy, Little Girl and Young Girl.

I played as the Michael Jackson wannabe for a while before I eventually started playing as the Sprout Trainer. I know for a fact that I played long enough to get the former the wave-pattern clothing and the latter her pirate costume.

I played as all of them. The whole Trainer Pass system was pretty neat. You could set up multiple characters and assign different teams to all of them.

What do you know someone defending a creator in 2019. What a surprise. It's almost like the template for making a decent customization system was already there and instead gamefreak when out of it's way to make their own worse one.
