this area is cool thematically at least. it's just the fact that you get stuck in the snow that makes this route suck.

It’s also that most of it simply isn’t interesting. It’s a straight path with hail covering your screen and you being slowed down due to the environment. The beginning and end would be better overall if they expanded them.

this is the only route i felt was a bad route in any pokemon game ever. i don't mind the snow route or gen 3 sea routes. but those mud mechanics were hellish button mashing to be able to move. stupid that they existed in the sinnoh safari zone as well.
