It's personally my favorite part, since there's a lot of planning, technique and work to put in to get your Pokemon exactly the way you want, or in the ballpark of. To cut that out of the game is not only cheating the game but cheating yourself out of the experience that the developers intended. Not to quote that copypasta, but to be victorious with injected mons is a hollow victory since you achieved only half of the struggle of the game.
"Professionals" or what have you may also inject, and it's a pretty well known fact they do, but it doesn't make it right. Competitive Counter-Strike players used to take adderall without a prescription to get a competitive edge, and while that's not exactly the same as this, the problem has gone away for CS because major tournament organizers as well as team organizations started to do drug tests. If GameFreak/Nintendo implemented better data encryption, better sensors for external tampering, and better detection overall, it would be a non-issue.
