As someone who works with behavioral dogs for a living. Bully breeds tend to have far more manageable behavior issues than other breeds. I hate to say this meme, but it really is the owner. The unfortunate part is that they are muscular dogs, so when they're raised poorly and become reactive, it is much more devastating.

Also, GF will never risk having a dark type pitbull regardless. The backlash would be L O U D.

Pit bulls aren't actually a breed of dog, it's a label for a number of different recognised and unrecognised dog breeds and mixed breeds based on face shape. It's a broad enough label as to basically be meaningless. They get lumped together because they're a convenient scapegoat
