I keep seeing people saying this, but how would such a fusion work? Would it replace all Rock and Ground typings? If not, who would lose a type? What are the matchups?
I want an answer that's been given serious thought, not an asspull.

Yeah I was surprised too. I'm still living in the past where all of the non-fossil rock types were part ground.

Gen 1 still has the only fully evolved ghost/poison and ice/psychic mons

Normal/Flying is such a shit overused type combo, they really could just let some of the birds like Pidgey and Spearow be pure flying.
