>>40080298A few picks at your image:
1) Using wojaks is uninspired and crummy, especially the NPC wojak.
2) The cut-off from Gen II to Gen III was technologically justified. Creating a link-cable from the GB to the GBA wouldn't be worth the money.
On top of that, there was no national dex cut, so people could recatch their favorites eventually through Gamecube games and FRLG. SwSh's dexcut was due to time constraints that aren't justified and excuses that don't add up.
3) I believe the game-split was done to incentivize trading and multiplayer. Nobody had to buy two games. You could make the argument that it forces consumers to buy peripherals, and that later releases alter content just enough that people will miss out on something by neglecting one version over the other.
I don't have anything else to argue about, I think.
>>40082139The dexcut was the wake-up call for me, but had it not been for the dexcut, I might've been still an overly-forgiving fan. However, Sun and Moon and ORAS did turn me off enough that I avoided USUM and will avoid the DiaPear remakes, so maybe sooner or later I would've gave up on GF-developed Pokemon, even if it would require me wasting $60 on SwSh in that hypothetical scenario.
