The weird design of Meltan has so much potential to end up as something weird and unique, and what we get instead? A golem that was badly put together.
Don't get me wrong, it has a cool design, but it feels like an "incomplete non true" version of a real form. Like as if Meltans didn't really know how to use their potential so they just fuse together and hope for the best a but a good trainer would help them into a further stage or something.
