I fucking hate this movie so much. I was high while watching this and I still got next to no enjoyment out of it. The plot is so contrived it hurts, the characters have no chemistry, Tim is a boring sack of shit with no development, shit jumped the shark so many fucking times you get desensitized, there were so many underutilized ideas and wasted potential. I came in expecting dumb fun, I left bored to death and angry about wasting my time like this.The biggest slap in the face in the whole movie was when Mewtwo conveniently got caught right at the moment he was about to show the most crucial part of the flashback. First of all the was he spoke in the flashback was extremely unnatural. It's like you're trying to tell a joke with a twist at the end. You don't talk like that in a normal conversation. Second of all there's absolutely no chace that anyone thought that this was what he meant in the first place. It was simply a forced and contrived way to make the obligatory split up happen. Wish I never saw it. At least then I would've been like "ah nice a movie adapting the franchise I love is liked online" but now I can't help but see every "critic" praising this movie as a blinded moron
