Yup, found out about the marowak glitch on my own in my youth. Felt really special even if I had no Idea I wasn't supposed to use a poketoy on the ghost. Never got the silph scope in all of my runs until 10 years later when I played fire red on an emulator.

This is what is great about old assembly games. The procedure doesnt give a shit whether or not the data is complete garbage, maybe it's even printing its own code. It's usually only when the data should contain valid addresses to jump to that you ever get in trouble.

there is LITERALLY a glitch you can use repeatedly to catch every single monster in one game. amazingly good freak accident for a game like pokémon
