I really like cats, and psychic powers would be pretty cool to have, so that narrowed it down to Espeon for me.
For perspective, I was a Rayquaza first, realized how awkward it made things as a sona, switched to Umbreon, but realized that was extremely common.
I contemplated switching to Snivy, Leafeon, Vulpix, or something like Lucario. I thought Leafeon and Vulpix were a bit too girly to see myself as, I thought it'd be more fun to have it be quadrupedal, and, like I said, I quickly narrowed it down to Espeon.
