The app contains no models. The data that was mined from it was codenames for the mon, hence us now knowing which ones evolve or are evolutions, and the images of many Max'd mon. These images are flat renders of them, not the physical models, so we really can't certainty from them at all.
All that said, they obviously reused the models. This is known from just looking at LGPE. They have the exact same meshes they've always had, but they've updated all the textures with the new shader they're using and higher resolution maps.
