"Sen" is a master trainer. He tought ditto to pretend to be him, and he named that ditto ash. He traveled from hoenn to kalos when he was 7 during summer. He caught bugs with a female friend when there.

im not looking for 100% faithfulness to game stats and rules but im really just tired of "clearly more experienced and stronger pokemon jobs to an underleveled pokemon by sheer plot armor and friendship"
