Before you send it off to get graded just look up an image of what a psa 10 card looks like. Compare the edge symmetry and centering front and back. Then check for any nicks on the edges or dimples, scratches, dents in the card face. If you see even one of these, don't grade it. There will be a monumental value difference if it's ungraded, but they grade very strictly, you can get cards you sleeve immediately and still only get a psa7 on them (like my shiny guzma card because it had print lines in the holofoil). I'd take it to any nearby card collection area and have them estimate it's value. Then keep it and try selling it yourself for about 1.5 their offer. But honestly if it's got even a couple dings on it I wouldn't bother.
