Basically games have been lacking of development and time since 3d became a thing.
They sell unfinished games with cut content, poor optimization and barely changed gameplay.
Forget about the polished experience you used to get with old games, this new games are made with the only intent of just making money and using the brand as a cash cow.
You'll find Pokémon sold as DLC at 50$ in devices (LGPE had a device called Pokéball Plus which was sold at this price and they gave you "Mew" as a gift if you bought it).
So yeah, the brand is alot fucked up.
Also, lately they've announced that in the next games (Pokémon Sword and Shield) they're gonna cut part of the Pokémon in the Pokédex with the excuse of better High Quality and Animations. Well my friend, that hasn't happen and they've just reused old assets for models, animations and graphics also looks like a Game Cube game from 2001.
They're so greedy that they don't invest in development anymore and just sell their rushed products for 60$.
Here's the sad reality.
