Even if the boycott does make an impact, Game Freak wouldn't patch the full National Dex in. Most likely, Game Freak will release Ultra SwSh with """ultra""" changes. The worst part about it is that many of the dexit supporters would happily eat that shit up.
Or worse, Game Freak will """remake""" the DiaPear games to finish """reworking""" the models, but it will still have a limited National Dex in order to divide the community.
Even if Game Freak did patch in the National Dex, most of Dexit would die out and the real critics would not have enough volume for their feedback on what's wrong with Pokemon to reach Game Freak.
The only real hope we have is that TPCi will give Game Freak some more development time and fill the gap with decent non-mobileshit spin-offs.
