The rest of these make the lines worse, especially because the design languages are not respected; for example, Feebas has the same level of detail as Milotic, similar colours, and common features (gills, scales, tattered look). Petilil I really don't understand at all. For contrast Cottonee would work as a prevo to Liligant because they have the same eyes and spherical white head shape with leaves and no mouth, plus the idea of a cotton bud evolving into a well-dressed flower (maybe a cotton flower hmm) is pretty solid. Dunsparce is a somewhat annoying suggestion since the only similarity is the colors and the wing shapes. I'm glad you didn't suggest Magikarp evolving into Dragonite anyway. Weepinbell into Carnivine btw.
