In a different timeline, things would be better.

>dragon-type Necrozma, no longer just a severed head with limbs

We would have been so mad...
>remake for the first console game
>Sun/Moon was a hard love/hate line for fans
>first 'third game' since B2W2, even if that was actual sequels
>huge complaints about buying Switch & $60 version of $40 game

But... instead we got shafted so much harder in our timeline.

>Barely a test of the Switch, much more of a money grab, Viridian Forest + lure = 4fps, no wild battles, broken new system of stats, only Gen 1 + Alola formes, we know the rest
>First true console game will not have all the Pokemon, sets hard precedent to NEVER AGAIN have them all.
>allows GF to keep the yearly schedule of games and money
>bi-yearly Lets Go games forever is our future hell

In retrospect, Stars might have made the franchise so much better, even if we never would have known...
