As someone who played a bit of original gold and played heartgold several times, is it worth getting crystal on VC for my 3DS and playing it? Don’t care about the cost, it’s cheap as hell.
My favorite pkmn game is emerald with colosseum as a close second.

I’ve heard a lot of people say the music was butchered in HGSS similarly to how fucked up it was in ORAS compared to RSE. Sad. Also my copy of HG has boxes chock full of legendaries and old teams from other playthroughs. Cleaning that out for a fresh save file would be a pain in the ass.

Psychic was IMMUNE to Ghost when it was supposed to be WEAK to it.
The move Focus Energy didn’t even function, it actually LOWERED the users crit rate.
Hyperbeam did not force the user to recharge if they KOd the enemy pokemon.
And of course the game was terribly balanced, with maybe 20 Pokémon being actually good (and that’s being generous)
