Because it's not going to change. Since the beginning of the series I've never cared about transferring pokemon, even when it was a thing we could do. I think from gen 1 to now the only time I ever transferred a pokemon was the darkrai with the other legendary moves. That's it, and I did it once. Why would I suddenly care now? I'll have beaten the game completely by time home releases next year even if I did care.
I'm probably being too mean here, but if you're taking offense by my post, there might be a reason for it.
