Because the Japanese version of Missingno. froze the game in the original Red and Green before the battle started, so the Japanese audience doesnt have the special attachment to the glitch Pokemon that international players had.

description:it feeds on unown and the very fabric of reality.
It is a technology originating from space and distorts anything around it and will consume anything.
It is a paradoxal creature that appears to move in and own of reality and can disappear and reappear.
