But now with regional forms, it wouldn't be entirely out of the question for designs closer to the original versions to appear in official games, and there's plenty of pokemon from it that didn't appear in the final version at all, that would be great to see in an upcoming gen. Not that I think that'll happen, at this rate, but it's a nice thought. The prototype legendary beasts probably wouldn't show up at all even in this theoretical future game, outside of maybe as a reference to being what they looked like before Ho-Oh, since they're a bit too rough, and deviantart-ish, but most of the other removed and altered designs could still work really well, if GF ever manages to pull it's head out of it's ass.
