Gen 3 contests were the only good ones because it effectively added a layer of longer term strategy over the Pokemon system. There was too much RNG and the dress up system from gen 4 was kinda neat, those two core ideas should have been expanded on and the dancing stuff never should have been a thing. Clothing should interact with moves, like boost the score of a move.
