I don't care about the dex, think about it from a marketing perspective.
If you could do something easily with zero effort in an entire year and sell it for 60 bucks with no consequence. You'd probably do it. It'd probably get people to stop arguing about the dex too.

Why the fuck would they put in all the pokemon just to repeat this entire controversy again when gen 9 doesnt have them all? It's not worth the time just to sell a third version which is 90% reused material from the initial installment anyways. They have cut their workload in half by getting away with this and there is no way they will give that up.

Yes actually, it's hard to understand English text with the multiple meanings of words. Sorry.
But the point I was making before is inserting the premade models, albiet with new textures, into version 3 of SwSh and claim it's a new thing. The parents of the child target audience won't know any better and buy it. The natdexfags will also be appeased, forgetting about the flaws, and also buy it.

Depends, but given they start the next games before releasing the newest Gen and it takes them three years to make them, pitching at 2022 for a new Gen isn't that outlandish (2016-2019 gives precedence) and coupled with this Gen being one with a core remake and a likely Let's Go sequel for 2020 and 2021 in whatever order they decide on makes an upper Galar version even less likely.
