Will they change the protagonist?
Will the Galar region appear as the main focus or will it only be a mention?
Will the other main characters of each game finally appear?
Ash will finally stay in Alola as a retired champion?

There was a leak saying Ash would go to Galar but would be a secondary character and there’d be a new main protag.

It was obviously fake but I liked the idea because I do enjoy a change of pace but I’m too emotionally attached to Ash to just throw him in a bin.

Next anime will be focused on an AU Ash who hasn't yet seen all of the regions to their fullest, and the Galar League will heavily focus on a world tour aspect for most of its challenges.
