You got your cute baby deer prevo so it isn't a boring single stage, Sawsbuck's design looks infinitely cooler than derpy bulldog frisbee-ass over here, it's got a unique typing in grass/normal rather than just another mono normal, and of course Sawsbuck has that whole seasons gimmick where it changes designs with the seasons and its antlers are tree branches.
Sawsbuck line is infinitely more flexible too. You got your regular deer with spring, summer, and fall, and then basically a reindeer too with winter. It's a shame that gamefreak fucked up and didn't bring back seasons though even though that's one of the most obvious things to do especially when you have a whole pokemon based around it.
