I'm not buying the game, but the National Dex is only an issue because Gamefreak lied about why Pokemon were cut. If they didn't lie and truthfully said it was due to time constraints and lack of optimization, it'd actually be a lot more acceptable. Nat Dex is the least of Sword and Shield's problems. You're better off complaining about the casualization of a series that was already super casual, dev time wasted on shitty gimmicks, or the lack of polish/detail/effort for a new-gen home console game.
