Nothing's been confirmed. What's interesting is Sobble's TCG card shows it has a Lightning resistance.Water starters only get Lightning as a weakness if they gain a typing that resists Grass. Poison's more likely for Sobble.

His wording on it was confusing. At least the first evolution seems to be pure fire, but the final evo may have another typing.
I don't get why he didn't say what Intelleon's type is considering it clearly is the starter he chose since he knew it so well while only vaguely remembering the others.

This, seems like the biggest thing yet. Pipplup also has a lightning weakness while froakie always had grass. So it really looks like sobble will be poison.

Because he was writing all he could remember, it's also clear he wasn't as nearly invested into the series as one of us, because of his seemingly lack of awareness of the past games (as forgettable as XY was, the fact it had the first Fairy gym, while we haven't even gotten a Dark gym is memorable in and of itself.
