For quick EV training using that distribution everyone used hordes which mind you is still a much faster method than SOS chaining.
Oh and I just remembered something else, it removed o powers in SM and then brought them back as something infinitely worse in USM.
Whether you like it or not gen 7 was abysmal compared to gen 6 which was already a step down to begin with.
