There are still more Pokemon on her team with a poison typing than a ghost typing in her FRLG rematch
In her Stadium Round 2 fight poison is the most common typing, there are even more psychic types on her team than there are ghost types.

Pokemon Stadium teams don't make any sense.

Lorelei only has 2 ice mons in round 2.

Bruno only has 2 fighting in r2 in stadium 1 and only has 2 fighting in both rounds of stadium 2.

Lance has no dragons in r2 of stadium 1, Charizard is the only "dragon like" pokemon on the team

Karen only has 2 dark mons in both rounds.

Yes, because a non-canon mobile game that doesn't include secondary typing (which in Gengars case is POISON) disproves every other example where Agatha has more poison type pokemon than any other.

Because they never brought her back for World Tournament. She's always been limited to only gen 1 & 2 pokemon, of which there are only 2 fully evolved ghosts.

Yes, and the only ghost type move that did direct damage in Gen 1 was Lick. Pokemon moves and movesets were really dire in general until Gen 3 and 4

Agatha is cool. She's basically presented as a corrupted Oak in Gen 1. She's the other only old person in the game who has a lot of experience with Pokemon, and even as she reveals she knows Oak from way back, she disparages him and the Pokedex, telling you that Pokemon aren't meant to be studied, they're meant to be fought. They gave her the best typing theme possible to solidify her seemingly corrupt nature, ghost/poison. It gave her that small yet charming sinister flare.

They do in Lets Go, though he still uses an Onix as well. They've also never given him a Primeape outside of 1 instance in Stadium 2, where he also uses a Golem, a Granbull, an Exeggutor and an Ursaring for some reason.

koga e4 team is themed on n8njas just like the sets
agatha's is based on common fears and and with the english localization it does not only work woth the ghost alliteration but also with agatha christie who has studied and worked in a pharmacy where she was inspired by poison for her novels, also lot of victorian age and gothic flavors
bruno team is inspired by physical pokemon and bulk
karen's original theme is witchcraft, similar to agatha, both of them have affinity in the end

Elite 4 in Gen 1 were intended to combine multiple similiar types.

Lorelei has Water/Ice and is the cool secretary woman.
Bruno has Fighting/Rock/Ground because he is a solid fighter.
Agatha has Ghost/Poison because she is almost like a witch and is close to death anyway.
Lance has Flying/Dragon because he is obsessed with draconic creatures.

I battled Agatha on leaf green for a rematch. She had Misdreavus, a pure ghost type. Other pokemon she had on pokemon stadium are venusaur, muk, jynx, alakazam, and gyarados. She has an alolan marowak on LGPE but I skipped those games. I think she used golbat and arbok just because the gastly line is part poison.
