Do you think Pokemon will suffer from franchise fatigue by annualizing the franchise? It seems like they are trying to release a game a year. Do you think they will predict that fans may need a break? Do you think they will milk it continuously?

This. They actually had to move to a game a year model as the spin-offs died a horrific death and meant they couldn't count on them to keep the franchise visible enough in the fallow years (it's why Yokai stole a march on them).

It already has. It needs to truely evolve or die. Sword and Shield is a step backwards not a step forward.
