Why does this board suck BW2"s dick so much? The originals are objectively better games

>BW2 have a worse story
>the new areas are entirely forgettable compared to the locales from the first game
>the rival is worse than Cheren/Bianca/N
>the expanded Pokedex goes against the entire point of BW AND the reason they were some of the most innovative games in the series, which is a fresh new experience in a new region with entirely new Pokémon. A better sequel would have added entirely new Unovian Pokémon instead kinda like USUM did with the extra UBs
>Iris being the champion is stupid
>forced Pokestar studios down your throat before letting you proceed with the game (Pokeathlon also did this but that was the best minigame in the series)

The things most people point towards:
>PWT, although fun, is a complete step down from the battle frontier of gens 3 and 4
>challenge mode, which is unlocked until you beat the fucking game and only exclusive to one version unless you have friends
>memory link which was poorly implemented
>white treehollow/black tower, which was admiteddly fun but not all that different from FRLG's discount battle tower
>postgame, although there's a lot to do, it pales in comparison to Gen 4

I liked Cheren's role and some new QoL features like the repels but that's about it as far as comparing it to the original games. It may have an expanded postgame, but most of it are lackluster versions of a superior postgame from the previous Gen, and most of the design decisions surrounding the game are completely antithetical to the original's design philosophy. If you're playing BW, you're playing it because it does something no other Pokémon game does: exclusive Pokémon, great story, new aesthetic, interesting region, etc. If you're playing BW2, you're either playing it for reasons that BW is better for, or for the postgame, which you could just play gen 4 or 3 instead for.
