I absolutely know that I could be totally wrong and Duraludon could be a supremely slow specially defensive physical attacker or something, but just going off of what they've said and what they've shown, my prediction is that Duraludon will be a Pokemon with very high special attack and speed ranging from "ok" to "pretty good".
If this is the case, I would be totally ok with it. Duraludon wouldn't even need to be THAT fast. Just fast enough to break through walls. STAB Draco Meteor and Steel Beam coming off of a high special attack stat would be all it'd really need to get the job done.

The stuff they've said about it says that it's a surprisingly fast lightweight metal dragon, and yes, I know all too well that they said that kind of stuff about Escavalier and Vikavolt but I'm holding out for this one. IT'LL HAPPEN FOR REAL THIS TIME, GUYS, I SWEAR

Also this is T-rubbish. If you thought that mon wasn’t making it into a British themed urban setting, you weren’t thinking. It makes sense, it instantly conveys the idea of trash and pollution. Placed in an area with Leftovers or low value overworld items... it writes itself. Muk isn’t as flexible, ironically. Most poison types are just poisonous animals so the concept doesn’t translate to the player

There's 148 single stagers and 49 are legendaries, so really it's 99. I don't think Gamefreak intends to make any one of them particularly good or bade. Aerodactyl was useless in every gen except 4 and 6, Bruxish has its own unique ability and they clearly thought they were doing something when they made it resists Bravest Bird's Flare Blitz and gave it Dazzling to shut down Brave Bird.

Meanwhile you have pokemon like Pinsir and Heracross where one is straight up better than the other despite having the same BST. Passimian, Bouffalant, and Cryogonal all have much higher BSTs than Skarmory, but Skarmory is usable while the rest of them are Also-Rans at best.

Closer to 71 legends, including UBs, but I get it. Outside of Skarm, a couple Megas, and some niche 1-2 gen usage from a handful of others, none of them have been anything special despite it seems Gamefreak is introducing more and more single stagers in gen 6 and 7. I wish Gamefreak would get more creative with making mons that are ok ingame and then with an HA, rare egg move, or something become powerful in PvP/postgame.
