Gen V is garbage with it's highly pixelated sprites because it tried to push animated 2D pokemon in a desperate attempt to milk every last drop from the DS; it would have been even worse.

That wouldn't have made ORAS any better. Not making Hoenn complete shit to begin with is the only thing that could've saved the remakes. The gen 4 remakes will suffer for the same reason as ORAS

Can't be, because gen 3 represented the biggest mechanical overhaul in the series. It's the most significant generation beyond the first. Meanwhile, gen 5's only new feature (which was just riding on gen 3's coattails) was dropped in 2 gens.

DPPt has the worst instrument samples, they sound so flaccid and hollow with the exception of a few. Say what you want about HGSS's and Gen 5's soundtracks, but at least samples there have some weight to them.
