I consider Drapion an honorary bug.
He evolved from a bug, he looks like a big bug monster, learns some good bug moves, he's a bug in all but type.

I didnt even realize skorupi was a bug type until a month or so ago....now I'm editing trainers in my OR and wondering if I should give my bug trainer bros drapion when they get to their fully evolved team.

I loved using drapion back in gen 4, it could do so many things (no not just Acupressure).

The Steven and alder points are pretty good, tho. Might let drapion slide. Also I'm pretty sure Aaron had a Drapion too. And that was gen 4 where there were enough bugs to choose from.

Yeah, Gligar and Gliscor are definitely not bugs. They may have many scorpion characteristics, but they also have bat-like ones.

I'd sooner say Gligar is a honorary Poison type (due to Immunity and, again, being a scorpion), and Gliscor even more of an honorary Poison type (again the scorpion thing, also Poison Heal) while also an honorary Dark type (evolves at night, uses an edgy item to evolve)
