I just hate the way regional forms have been handled so far. They are hardly "alternatives", they are almost always straight upgrades when it comes to typing, stats and ability. And now we've reached the point where the regional form can get its own new evolution unlike the original. Great idea, terrible execution.

Galarian Weezing isn't an upgrade on Weezing, unless you think eating EQ or letting Lando intimidate your Lando switch-in is cerebral play

Obstagoon and Sirfetch'd will be fine if their NFEs are Eviolite elegible. you're not going to see shitmons become viable without completely remaking the Pokemon, which is what an evo does

the only Pokemon that's an outright buff is alolan muk.

The only kind of pokemon that would completely justify its Fire/Fighting typing would be a minotaur, since it's commonly portrayed with a brawny body. Infernape too but that's because it's Sun Wukong.

Dex culling means there won't be any other fire/fighting pokemon from other regions in the game, so Game Freak has to make new Fire/Fighting pokemon to fill the gaps. Please understand.

Alolan Sandslash is a buff. Slush Rush + Aurora Veil was actually viable in UU and banned from RU/NU. Thing was a damn shitmon for the past 6 gens before that.

Marowak, Raticate, Exeggutor, Persian, and Ninetales are definitely better than the originals too. A-Golem is OU viable. The one one that's flat out worse than the original in battle is Dugtrio.

Most of the Alolan forms are better than their Kanto counterparts competitively, dude.

Fairy type is so good and Weezing also gets levitate in that form, so it's definitely better than the original too.

Scorbunny, whether it gets fighting or not, is a brawler type bipedal furrbait mon, what else could it be? It's a football player, they "fight" with kicks.

It's not even about the fire/fighting combo specifically at this point, I just want something that isn't a bipedal fire animal. Seriously, name one fire starter that isn't just an animal but on two legs, I guess there's charizard because it's a dragon and those don't exist? Like throw some variety in there. A different bodyplan, like grass and water starters have.
