I thought it was a fakemon until I read its bulbapedia article.

Fucking THIS. Whatever happened to getting items and shit to go get event Pokemon. I remember being super hyped learning about all the gen 4 event islands and such for Darkrai and Shaymin. Even though it was small, I loved going to Liberty Island when I was younger to get Victini. I don't wanna use the """soul""" buzzword but it truly feels soulless just getting a code every single fucking time for these event Pokemon. The biggest kick in the teeth was ORAS not bringing back the plethora of event islands for Latios/Latias, Mew, Deoxys and Ho-Oh/Lugia

He was completely inconsequential in his own movie. If that single radio tower hadn't randomly fallen for no reason he wouldn't have had any purpose whatsoever. He really shouldn't have even been in that movie. Also, he couldn't even manage to recover from 50 year old injuries.
