Wasn't there that episode where a Scyther cuts through 6ft thick nuclear blast door like butter, then slices its way through scores of pokemon like they were nothing? I don't consider it badass most much astronomical levels of BULLSHIT as if pokemon were that powerful in the hands of 10 year old kid, War Lords and Dictators would be trashing the world with them and nobody would be able to stop them as each pokemon is more devastating than a Vulcan Gunship loaded with napalm, bunker busters and carpet bombs

An unused script for a pokemon movie was about Oak finding a T-rex fossil that would come to life and rampage around Kanto. It would explain why no normal animals exist in the pokemon world and have team rocket team up with Ash to stop it. The movie ended up being scrapped in favor of the 3rd movie

Friendly reminder that Dragonite is supposed to be near mythical because of the sheer rarity of the Pokémon, and the anime treats it like a joke. Same with Tyranitar always being the mom for the jobber criminal of the week for filler episodes.

I like that the only fully evolved actual dragon from the first gen wasn't trying to look intimidating, like Charizard or Gyarados, because it didn't to. It was so powerful it had nothing to fear, so it just enjoyed itself. I wish the anime and the tcg embraced it instead of trying to making it be angry and "cool" all the time.
