And it isn't keys. The round bits are 'horns' and it spends its life collecting keys. Like how Farfetched has leek.

I’ll be honest, at first i was really against the design. Returning old fans will have that same reaction. But some things take warming up to. It is a good synthesis of all kleptomaniac house fairy stories. It was commonplace to attribute things moving in the house or work to fairies at one point before scientific/secular views become more predominant. The “I swear it was right here” feeling. Losing your keys is probably the most common type of this nowadays

This lore took him from being "literally just a set of keys, Pokémon has lost their spark, etc" to unironically being my favorite and made me realize being an objectmon isn't inherently bad - actually made me reconsider some older designs I'd dismissed too.
