At the very least, every texture is now less fuzzy on the edges. I don't know what the size of the 3DS textures were, but they were clearly pretty small considering how blocky they look on emulators with higher res displays.
Like I said, the biggest tweak all of them so far seem to have gotten is to line thickness. On the 3DS, it was hard to make out small details with how blurry everything was, so detailing on the Pokemon was done with thick, consistent lines. With these new textures, they're working on a higher res for a bigger screen, so they can make the details look better by using more reasonable line widths and tapering them properly. Most Pokemon seem to have tweaks to the layout/shape of their facial details as well.
