What is worse, the things that WERE focused on had no closure.
USUM... added even more things to a complicated story... some worked well with it while others stuck out like a sore thumb and it is the added stuff that becomes that stories main focus.
With what WAS the central focus of SM, being altered because of the new stuff (I didn't mind the changes to Lillie's family drama since it is different circumstances, but a bigger picture being made.) and downgrading from the central focus to just a major part as to why and how Necrozma became the active threat. (Something worth criticizing on.)
The closure in USUM is better to me, so it is a give or take.
I hope SWSH makes its story more straight forward and simple.
